INFORMATION ON WASTE ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT (WEEE)

epiLED Polska Sp. z o.o., as a distributor of electrical and electronic equipment, provides information on the rules for handling waste equipment in accordance with the WEEE Act:

1. Prohibition of disposal in ordinary bins: Waste electrical and electronic equipment (marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheelie bin) must not be disposed of together with other municipal waste. Electrical waste disposed of in ordinary bins poses a real threat to the environment and human health.
2. Crossed-out bin symbol: This symbol, found on LED lighting products, power supplies and controllers, indicates the obligation to collect such devices separately at the end of their useful life.
3. Free ‘1 for 1’ collection: Voltopedia customers are entitled to return their old device free of charge when purchasing a new one, provided that the used equipment is of the same type and performed the same functions as the equipment sold. Example: when purchasing 100 LED modules on the Voltopedia platform, you can return 100 used LED modules.
4. Return conditions: The used equipment should be complete and properly prepared for transport. The seller has the right to refuse to accept the device if, due to its contamination, it poses a threat to the health or life of the persons receiving the equipment.
5. Delivery of equipment: Used equipment should be delivered to the headquarters of epiLED Polska Sp. z o.o. at ul. Stanisławowska 27, 54-611 in Wrocław, Poland at the Customer's own expense.
6. List of collection points: Information on collection points for used equipment throughout the country (e.g. PSZOK) can be found in the BDO register at: https://rejestr-bdo.mos.gov.pl/.
